March 01 Book to Help Those Dealing with Exploitation by Authority FiguresMy co-author, Curt and I have written a book based on his true story. It's about the exploitation by authority figures and what we discovered in dealing with church authority figures. The book tells an important story for all to read so that they'll be prepared if they should ever encounter manipulative predators where least expected--in a church. When someone holds a power over another and uses it for their own purposes, it may not be a punishable crime. Victims of clergy misconduct need compassion and help. They should be embraced and not be shunned, especially by church administrators who seem to be more interested in the almighty dollar than their own flock. Our book, Innocence Betrayed - A Dad's Story of Clergy Misconduct tells a powerful story, and it also offers hope. Help is available through many of the wonderful help groups listed on our website at www.innocencebetrayedbyclergy.com. Those abused by trusted authority figures, including clergy, teachers, doctors, therapists, coaches, etc., can find links on our website to places that can aid in the healing process. There is power in numbers and victims must be allowed to speak out and not be gagged in courtrooms in order to obtain settlements with a church that hides a predator behind their doors. I'm interested in your opinion on this. Reviews of the Book and Workbook "Innocence Betrayed"
